The OPTIBAR PT 2000 dynamic pressure probe is particularly suitable for retrofitting into existing pipework at low cost. A simple 25 mm hole and the welding of the mounting part to match the pipework enables flow measurements to be retrofitted, especially in sub-distributions that were previously ignored. Additional compensation of the operating density is required, especially in the event of major fluctuations in pressure or temperature.

A fully compensated OPTIBAR PT 2000 is also suitable for measuring steam or compressed air with the highest measurement uncertainty requirements. The OPTIBAR FC 1000 volume corrector provides active density compensation as well as automatic split-range evaluation of two differential pressure transmitters to ensure overall measurement uncertainties of < 1%. For a verifiable reference within the framework of the Implementing Regulation 2018/2066/EU (‘Monitoring Regulation’), wet calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 can also be offered.
